Mr. Lever has been administrator of Independent and Assisted Living at the Heritage at Lowman since January 2001. Prior to assuming his current duties, Mr. Lever was Assistant Commissioner of the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department. He has thirty-five years experience in health care-related positions. His experience also includes that of Hospital Administrator and Assistant to the Deputy Commissioner for Inpatient Services at the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. Lever, a licensed Community Residential Care Facility Administrator, earned his baccalaureate degree in Religion from Newberry College, a masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of South Carolina and a masters degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University.
